Overview
Always Able Pet Boarding began as Kennels on Kew, opening in 2002. Since taking over the business in 2020, Michelle, Atti and Anneleise Nohotima continue to provide a loving, caring place for dogs and cats to stay.
Having upgraded their kennels and pet grooming facilities, Michelle approached Pounce to give their branding and website a similar upgrade.
A friendly brand
Our design lead designed the Always Able Pet Boarding logo with friendliness, approachability, fun and trust in mind.
The circular motif signifies cohesion and inclusivity, reflecting the comprehensive and reliable list of pet services on offer. We also designed the logo to be versatile, ensuring consistent brand recognition across various mediums and channels, from business cards to signboards.
While the house element symbolises a home-like environment, the cat and dog motifs express the nature of the business as well as the team’s caring and loving personal touch.
Bright, cheerful colours convey whimsy and fun, while the bold outline suggests unity and reliability. Finally, the rounded, edge-free font enhances the welcoming and approachable nature of the brand.
A paw-some new website
Following a workshop with the client, our copywriter rewrote each page of the website to not only describe the various services and facilities but also provide reassurance and answer queries anxious pet owners may have.
The copy is concise, clear and conversational, while the tone of voice is friendly and playful, just like the furry friends coming to stay.
With the brand guidelines in place, our design team then set to work on creating the new website with a fresh look and feel. The bright colours and plenty of pet images emphasise the caring fun for which Always Able Pet Boarding is known.
